Our catering staff are committed to maintaining the highest standards in our kitchen in order to deliver excellent home cooked meals to our residents. The menus which are displayed on a daily Menu Board in the Dining Room are varied with special emphasis on ensuring they are nutritionally well balanced. Freshly prepared vegetables and fruits are offered every day together with succulent cuts of meats and fish.

Our cooks are able to cater for specialist diets and always welcome the opportunity to meet with the residents and their representatives to ensure the menu reflects their favourite foods.

Birthdays are a special event and are celebrated with a home-made birthday cake and tea where everyone can join in.

Meals are encouraged to be taken in our dining room. However, if residents wish they can also take any of their meals whilst remaining in their lounge chair or in their bedroom, the choice is always available. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am. What you have and when you have it is up to you. There is always a choice of a hot cooked breakfast, porridge, or toast and cereal.

Lunch is served at 12.30pm and there is a choice of main course and deserts.
Supper is served at 5pm which also includes a hot and cold alternative.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served during the morning, afternoon and evening.
Personal preferences are readily catered for and snacks are provided between meals should residents request one.

Visitors, particularly those who may have travelled some distance to the home, will be most welcome to join the residents for meals if they wish.
